Celebration

Celebration

This Rumi poem turns to spring colors:

من آفتاب انورم خوش پرده‌ها را بردرم

من نوبهارم آمدم تا خارها را برکنم

***

Oh, lovers, the darkness of winter

is melting away

I look upon your face

and I become the spring newness

I breathe life into flowers

And thorns shrink away from

my passionate kisses

I am the roar of the sun

taring away the veil  of illusion

The mundane is sacred now

It is time to celebrate!
