Reframe: Anti-Oppression Work in Dance & Performance

March 18 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Please join us on March 18 (Friday) at noon-1 pm for the 4th brown bag of our year-long discussion series on “anti-oppression” work jointly offered by the Institute for Dialogue and Social Justice, the Center for Inclusive Excellence, and the Center for Transformative Justice.

Dance and performance are particularly rich vehicles in “anti-oppression” work. This (re)frame session highlights and considers anti-oppressive vehicles, tools, and possibilities in the context of dance and performance. Join us to learn from and converse with our own Dr. Chuyun Oh (Assistant Professor, School of Music and Dance), Dilkhwaz Ahmed (the Executive Director of License to Freedom), and Ari Honarvar (the Founder of Rumi with a View). Please register here.
